THEY should 'simply' pay AMD something small so as to name their next GTX 80 series card the GTX9-480: it will be long enough before we reach the GTX9-980 (THE marketing guyz at AMD are genius for that)

Indeed, what are they going to do when they run our of numbers.

Reckon soon enough they'll realise crap these names are too long, and henceforth we'll get the GTX 90x series, 91x series etc. Fill 10 digits at a time as opposed to 100 XD

Hopefully these cards live up to the hype. Shame they won't have hbm2 but we havent really seen a large gap in performance when compared to gddr5. A small card could be nice. Would be a good upgrade for my ageing 770.
