QOTW: Which tech do you boycott?

I entirely agree on VR, but as for watches, that's a tech I don't see me giving up any time soon. If ever. My current 'standard' watch has been telling me the time reliably for about 10 years, and hasn't required a battery charge of change in all that time. I did have to replace a catch that broke. That was £30 IIRC, for Seiko genuine titanium part via a local jeweller. I could probably have saved a bit, or quite a bit, via ebay or whatever but frankly, couldn't be bothered.

I did say Smart Watches - I don't boycott watches in general; I just don't need one.

And I can tell the time in about 1 sec, with a quick flick of the wrist, and I can do it pretty much regardless of what I'm doing, be it driving a car, reading a book or making a soufflé.

I have a clock in the car, and in the kitchen, lounge, bedroom - pretty everywhere except the bathroom because, if you're in the bathroom, everything else can wait.
