Are curved monitors recommended for CAD jobs?
Cant abide those stands though, horrific looking and no VESA interface options I can see on them. I have always felt that stands need to be as simple and minimal as possible to make sure you don't detract from the screen.
Samsung are bad at this with a lot of their monitors.
They have that huge round flat surface at the bottom and did not include a built in wireless charger for phones in to it? Really!? So there is no reason for it then?
Get rid of it, it looks foul.

Curved displays are definitely quite interesting for CAD and maybe other work. But content is rendered for flat screens, so I think it looks a bit weird on those displays.
I don't like the curved TVs but can see more benefit with a curved monitor or 2 for work. Might have to trial a 2nd hand one at some point
I bought a 27" Samsung Full HD curved monitor and I don't rate it at all. It offers no benefit as far as I can see and I now wish I had put more dough together and bought a second Dell U2715H. I just bought one of these and I'd much rather use that in all situations. I think the Samsung was overpriced too (~£250) as there are panels that are just as good but flat for a lot less money, and the stand isn't adjustable either.
