Yeah, it's OK, but I want a GigE port on my laptop. The Mrs' Macbook Pro doesn't have one, and it's a REAL PITA if you need to move massive files around. I know I could get a converter, but really, I don't get this 'thin is everything'.
This + Razer Core (or an alternative) = seriously awesome
Two. Two tb3? What?
Honestly this is pretty cool. Would be nice if they released a more "masculine" model with some "Space Gray" and more geometric lid design instead of a floral pattern. Maybe just me though.
EDIT: Oh, looks like it doesn't have that design on the front. Either way, a dbrand skin would fix that in a jiffy.
One question about TB3 - it's advertised as up to 100w system charging which is more than enough for lower powered systems, but can you use 2 ports simultaneously to power a 200w system? And if so would this be possible from 1 dual ported TB3 controller?
um.... it might be the thinnest 'current' laptop but off the top of my head the dell adamo xps was thinner, Dimensions: (w x d x h) 340 x 273.9 x 9.99 mm. Personally I'd rather gain 1-2mm in thickness to get increased battery life but maybe that's just me. Also not sure I like the use of 'copper' in the design.
HP demoed a 13" X360 with a Samsung OLED screen back in January that should be out soon - so it's a little surprising OLED is not an option on this premium model which is specifically targeting thinness.
