Probably means Polaris 11 - so already in laptops.
Or AMD is competing with Nvidia's mobile 980 in a big way

My criteria for an upgrade is that it has to be at least 10% faster than what I have right now (unless I am doing a completely new build and need a card.) so I will have to wait and see the benchmarks.
As for AMD, the best Polaris card will only be running at 100W so I am not expecting much. I could be wrong but lots of heavy graphics lifting requires the watts to do it, no matter what the die size.

The best Polaris card will have a higher TDP than 100W! Why do you think otherwise? It's the low power (little) Polaris that has less.

Looking forward to this, but I expect I will probably wait 'till next year and see what's out.

Baffin - the R7 470 replacement is the sub 65w card - the R9 480 (ellesmere) is the 135w card
