Sounds like it could be a pretty interesting game when it's finished, and I badly want a proper old style shooter, what I've seen of UT4 and DOOM multiplayer just don't cut it, and that Toxikk game on steam is looking alright but not amazing. That said, having read up on the daikatana incident, I'll believe it when I see it.

Re: Romero and Carmack launch Blackroom FPS on Kickstarter

Sorry, I'm looking for a bit more than a Doom style fps, which is why I sponsored the Super Hot team on KS. Good to see though that Blackroom includes a campaign mode and they're planning a long development, so hopefully no rushed out of the door nonsense like we get from Ubisoft etc.

Now if only I could get Windows 10 fixed so I can actually play Super Hot then I'd be a happy fella.

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...

A game with this formula could be hot but I'm not sure these guys have any better chance of pulling it off than some future developer who comes from nowhere. A fast paced 3d shooter is a simple formula to get Right, really. Need to throw away the conventional stuff which gets applied to every other game today, though. No QTEs no crafting no RPG elements no walking around at a snails pace, its just kill or be killed suckers..

Just a random comment for the hell of it here. Anyone wanting a fairly decent free shooter should try planetside 2 (no wish to derail so will ignore replies about it )
