Re: Nvidia GeForce Game Ready 365.10 WHQL drivers available
I wonder if this one will be stable...
Re: Nvidia GeForce Game Ready 365.10 WHQL drivers available
Don't think I'll find out, recently realised I need to give them my email address/ make an account to receive the regular updates for my GPU but if I don't I'll only receive the summary ones in larger intervals. Why?

No you don't.
Re: Nvidia GeForce Game Ready 365.10 WHQL drivers available
has it been three months already?
Re: Nvidia GeForce Game Ready 365.10 WHQL drivers available
Is Forza going to be on GFWL only? (or whatever they are calling it now).

It doesn't exist any more. It's Windows 10 only though, through the app store thingy too I think.

Hexus Article
Article above says you do.
I'd even completely forgot I'd posted on that thread as well. It annoyed me back then so much that I just stopped trying to update my drivers regularly. I don't play brand new games so I don't require those game ready drivers but when I did go to update as I realised I hadn't done so in a good while I was reminded why I did.
It's still a poor move and it's still just forced advertising. Why do nVidia need my email address? Just to advertise. Nothing more, nothing less.
Re: Nvidia GeForce Game Ready 365.10 WHQL drivers available
I have just downloaded it without having to give them anything. I don't use geforce experience or any of that other bloatware anyway. I only install the driver plus physx driver.

I thought the end goal, and what it currently was, was a hub for all things nVidia and that you couldn't get drivers elsewhere? I do occasionally use shadowplay so I won't be getting rid of it but it's good info to know!
Thanks!
Re: Nvidia GeForce Game Ready 365.10 WHQL drivers available
Hang on a minute, I didn't notice at first but I haven't got the 365.10 driver so sorry for that. What I got was the 362.00 game ready driver from 1st March so it look's like you do need to do something else for the latest drivers. Oh well, I don't buy games as they are released anyway and I am never going to use GeForce Experience so it's no great loss to me.
They are on Guru3d though here.
Re: Nvidia GeForce Game Ready 365.10 WHQL drivers available
Ok, this is weird. I just downloaded the 365.10 drivers from Guru3D and went to do a custom clean install as I only want the driver plus the phsyx driver and it tells me that 365.10 is already installed even though the download from Nvidia was labelled 362.00. Can someone else download the latest driver from nvidia by doing a manual search and see what you get please?

How very odd. I'll do some digging when I get home tonight.

That has never happened. I've managed to download all drivers via their website since that article without needing to give them any info. Maybe research before spreading misinformation

The misinformation is at Hexus' end then, not Jowsey's. Perhaps suggest they correct it?

We've already discussed that I assumed that Geforce Experience was the exclusive mechanism for delivering these driver related services and updates, I was wrong about this. Since it actually appeared to be a completed package of software, if a little bloated.
I'd also suggest that it's incorrect to say that "That never happened" when it did. As per the article says your are required to input personal information to get the game ready driver through Geforce Experience.
