I really wouldn't say no. My piece of crap Dell is really showing its age.

I am still using a old Sony running XP (originally came out with 98 and my battery life is now a bit poor and I may be overstating it's battery performance LOL), had to go back to this for a portable PC, as my newer HP DV9000 died several years ago - it only made it to about 1 month after it's first birthday, then refused to turn on no matter what I tried. Don't know how old your Dell is, but surprisingly the Sony still makes the HP look like a piece of garbage.
The Sony comes in handy for a couple of pieces of hardware and software which do not work on the latest OS's. The only thing I have done is replace the HDD with a bigger SSD when it started getting noisy (IDE drive - 40GB up to a huge 256GB).

Anyone need a HP boat anchor?? :-)
