    Oh noes, more data snafu-age is going to happen and it's all getting snorted up by 2-3 companies. Nothing is safe! Run for your lives! </sarcasm>

    I'm quite interested to see what Microsoft do with LinkedIn and where they focus the company's drive.

    Judging by Microsoft's track record, they probably won't do much: cf Nokia. They have done some stuff with Skype for professional applications - a lot of BBC reports are now done over Skype - but my guess is that they want a chunk of 'social media' although LinkedIn <> Facebook!
