Very good news for Chrome OS. Might actually make it semi-usable for work.

I just love how all the tech web sites try to push Chromebooks... I suppose you have to get paid somehow.

Hmm, I don't suppose the possibility that they're all trying to push them because there's some genuine usage cases?

Actually this is pretty good news for the people who've got a (relatively recent) Chromebook. I know one or two users and they're pretty happy with them. Basically they've replaced a budget laptop batteries, and get kudos for being 'less of a hassle' than a normal Windows laptop. It'll be interesting to see which apps make the jump to the new store...

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...

Impressive that Google's own list shows the Chromebook Pixel (2015) in both the June 2016 and the later 2016 tables
