My broadband speed - 750 Meganibbles/minute
MSI R9 380 and a Noctua 14cm case fan
Upgraded my GPU from an AMD R9 270x to a R9 390x. Very happy with it, I won't pay the Nvidia prices!
Upgraded e6600 to Q6600.
A new Iiyama GB2488HSU Red Eagle monitor, a DXRacer Racing chair (if monitors and gaming chairs count, both so worth it), 16GB Team Group Vulcan RED DDR3 2400 C11 memory, just for the sake of it, not that I need it, my i5 3570K's memory controller can't even make more than 2200MHz.Also a new EVGA 650 G2 and a Crucial BX200 240GB for the second PC but sadly spawned from death of a PC Power&Cooling Silencer MKIII 500W and OCZ Solid 3 120GB SSD respectively.
well i bought a new all in one water cooler for my CPU, a new case and a bunch of new fans so far, and hopefully at the end of this year or the start of next year i will be upgrading my system itself, going from an R9 390, and an intel i5 3570k CPU and 16Gb's of DDR3 ram, to a Nvidia GTX 1080, an i7 6700k ((or newer one if their new CPU's are around the same price)) and 32GB's of DDR4 ram ^^ first ever high end PC I'm making haha i'm so excited to be honest this year is gonna drag so slowly
HDD, more HDDs![]()

No upgrades. No plans in the near future.
planning to change gfx and monitor later this year, once the price have gone down a bit on the 1080, and i have found out if i want wqhd or go all the way to 4k. decisions decisions...![]()
No upgrades so far, though I am in the process of replacing my RAM as one of the sticks is faulty. Beyond that, just hoping for high-capacity SSDs to fall into my price bracket!
Just did a core upgrade, went from 2500K to 6700K, Asus ROG motherboard and some DDR4. Already had a 980Ti and a 2TB SSD. I wasn't sure whether to do this upgrade as everyone says the chip isn't much faster. But I was having weird occasional BSODs on my Sandy Bridge that I was fed up with trying to solve. The result is pretty good. BSODs have all gone. 6700K at its stock 4.2GHz gets a 16% higher 3dmark score than my 2500K which was overclocked to 4.3. It sure runs very smooth in games (I'm only playing at 1920x1080 too). Also, this ROG motherboard is probably the best board I've ever had. It has a pretty good fan controller that lets you manually set fan speed curves, and endless overclocking features.
I switched from an old Microsoft keyboard to a newer Dell one.
I might get a second R9 390(X) for CF after Polaris release, if I find one for a good price, but we'll see.
Sold the 980s - bought a single 980ti.
Sold the WD Black, upgraded to 2Tb SSHD
Keyboard and mouse both died. Now a refurbed K70 and and cheapie until I can get another job.
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
