Got one for the other half, works pretty in most things with a bit of tweaking but Big Picture mode has been a pain in the behind. Slow and unintuitive, clicking doesn't work when you have gone back to keyboard and mouse for some reason, entering a group chat seems to be imposible, and it seems to toggle it self back on without asking. Glad they're bringing better controller config to the desktop mode.
Doesn't seem like many TBH.
Role on the new revision, I might be tempted to try one over the XB1 controllers I am currently using.
I got a Steam controller as a gift for xmas and I just cannot get on with the damn thing. I'm sure if you spent enough time tweaking the configuration and getting used to it you could make it work perfectly for the game you are playing but I'd much rather just grab my XBox controller and play right away.
It's a nice idea but poorly designed, the buttons are too small, the directional pad fiddly and the 'mouse' pad's tracking seems flaky. The haptic feedback is just annoying and noisy too. I hope the next revisions will be a lot better - it has potential.
Overpriced gimmick controller. Don't see me ever buying this.
Personally that doesn't seem a lot to me either...
Haven't even considered getting one of them but I have considered a wireless xbox controller, still haven't bought one though as to be honest the games I play work better with keyboard and mouse lol
I play a mixture of games but for arcade etc I use the Xbox 360 wireless controller, RTS and FPS just doesn't seem right with a controller.
Though for the time its been out those sale's figures don't seem to spectacular. I have the Steam link which works fairly well if you have a wired network. Wireless was a bit flaky.
The 360 controller is sufficient for my needs but I am trying to get the duke set up to work on windows 10.
