I wouldn't mind having a wrist-phone with decent size that can unroll/unfold. But I seriously doubt these bendable phones could handle being in a pocket in your pants for 2 years without turning into a pile of junk. I like seeing sci-fi turn into reality.

I would buy the fold out phone which doubles the screen size. I can see that as being the next big thing. Phone designs haven't changed for about 8 years now, they all look so boring, we need some proper innovation.

Well, I'm not first time, but certainly this time, though perhaps not by (good) design!

indeed, it might just make me get a smart phone, instead of my trusty 10year old phone

Yes, I read that someone thought it would be handy to wrap their phone around their wrist.....at a time when we have smart watches and wearables and (quite frankly) people need to stop needing their phone attached to them 24/7.

Or do you think the article should make people go "Oh my god, how have I managed to live this long without a BENDY PHONE?!?"

Wow Ashton Kutcher, he looks thrilled, he doesn't look at all as if he is questioning how this is now his life.

I can see this idea bombing hard, but at the same time I think it's really neat.
