I honestly don't know. I've got a 5930k running stock and the other week I noticed the CPU fan header wasn't plugged in. I didn't receive any alarms or slow down it was running on a Corsair h110 pump only and case cooling.

i5-3570k at 4.5ghz with coolermaster nepton 140xl cooler
29 idle
99 hottest
Level gt10 Gt fans at normal speed.
My gaming rig is a mess: 4670k under water at stock clocks right now 40 idle, 100 load. Looks like I'm going to be re-seating the cooler this weekend.
My HTPC is doing better: i7 4785T under a silent Scythe Big Shuriken at stock clocks. 35 idle, 62 load. Correctly turbo-ed to 2.8G on all threads and holding steady.
Curiosity got the better of me so i ran test again cpu and both gpus maxed out and turned all case fans to max. Cpu 51c, gpu1 80c, gpu2 67c
Mine ran at 80c and got to max 85c after 10 minutes. i3-4160 with stock cooler.
Thanks guys. ran it on my server/workstation and got a temp alert on my main rig after 3 minutes. Dual Opteron 8435 system, 1 CPU balanced out at 65c but the other kept rising, after 7 minutes it was above 80 and i shut the test down. Time to change the paste.
i5-6600k 59 Celsius after running prime95 for 15 minutes.
Don't think the minimum temps are correct though as ambient is 20 and I had just finished playing a game.

i7 4790K @ 4.5Ghz on all four cores.
Noctua NH-U12S in a Corsair Obsidian 450D with Demciflex filters.
Idle 30c / After 5 mins Prime95 76c
I keep an eye on my temps. That's the hottest I've ever seen it. Don't think I'll be running that again any time soon!
i5 6600K @ 4.4 Ghz, Define S, Noctua NH-U14S
What is up with realtemps CPU frequency and load readouts though?
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 (2,66 GHz) @ 3,52 GHz
Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo
Case: Fractal Define R4
Fans: 2x140mm intake (1x Fractal, 1x Noctua), 1x120mm exhaust (Radeon Fury X radiator fan)
My core pairs are a bit unbalanced, with about 8 degrees between them. Average maximum after about 30 minutes of Prime95: 67,75 degrees (64, 64, 71 and 72 degrees across cores 0-3).
(and yes, I was stupid enough to stop Prime95 before I took the screenshot.)
CPUs: Dual Xeon E5-2670 (2.6GHz/8cores)
Coolers: 2 x Corsair H80i v2
Case: Corsair 750D Airflow Edition
Prime95 run for 15mins
CPU 1: 57C
CPU 2: 59-60C
Idle temps are at about 40C
well you guys have it fine in the UK. Here in Greece we are already hitting 41c outside and our computers scream in despair
My phenom II x6 1090T could manage hot summers with the stock cooler staying at 42c but it was a hell of a screamer. The cooler was hitting 5K rpm and it was very very loud. I changed it with a CM Hyper TX3 Evo and it can keep it at 42 at below 2k rpm with barely noticeable noise.
To be honest I'm a bit afraid to use this "burn" test at this time of the year
My ambient temps are around 30c, 55c under load.
