I don't own an XBox and I never will, but I hope for those owners' sakes that MS will find a way to give XBox customers the cheaper prices that we're used to on PC on their download store, and some kind of parity in terms of bonanza Steam-style sales. If not, those people who supported them by buying and sticking with the lesser console (compared to PS4) will be justifiably sore.

The xbox e3 stream was poor. The playstation stream was really good. The Zelda: Breath of the Wild game looks the best for me :-) I haven't caught up on developer streams yet...

There really has never been a better time to be a PC gamer. Whether or not you like the various vendor clients/stores, Steam/Origin/Uplay/GOG/Humble etc etc, there is a massive wealth of games from all genres at all price levels... both new and old/retro. You quite literally are spoilt for choice.

If only the actual PC gaming show had been worth the time it took up... It's a shame that PC gamers still don't have proper representation at E3, why can't it be a press conference instead of a tortuously long infotainment talk show? Day9 does his best no doubt but that format is not ideal.

I gave up with the PS4 earlier this year and went back to PC gaming - the games I play most aren't platform exclusives so I get better graphics and no subscription fees

Re: PC gaming 'wins E3 show' says report

PC's have always been better for gaming. But for ease of use console's win out. I had a console once, used it about a dozen times and then sold it. But what really annoys me and other PC gamers is this idea that porting a game from console to PC is a good idea. When a game is specifically designed solely for PC, it usually has a better interface and therefore easier to use. But when a the game is ported, I've found it to be a pain in the derriere. And more often than not, the games crash for a past time and takes ages to get a patched. And the developers do NOT take any notice of their own forums when the streams of complaints pour in about this and other issues. And for that reason I haven't upgraded significantly for a long time. I'm past caring about paying for crap anymore. Rant over
