Not bad for gamers that realy don't care about 15 configurable buttons.

Price is OK as well for the sensor.

Pound to dollar parity, no news there.

Whilst lots of buttons is often overkill, a button on each side like the old MS mice would be a nice touch.

Re: Razer Abyssus V2 'less is more' gaming mouse launched

I had an email from Razor about this in my inbox today - I don't quite get where this fits in, unless they are getting rid of the Deathadder series?

The basic (non Chroma) Deathadder is £40-£50 depending on where you buy it from, and the Chroma version is £50-£60.

Personally I think the Abyssus is far too expensive when you can get a Deathadder for that price, which has better specifications. Strange one.

edit: I guess that we'll see the same effect as the first Abyssus - it will actually sell for £25 ish, which if so is about right

So basically we have come full circle after most realise they don't need 10000 buttons.

It is Razer... it is more brand than quality, doubt it would be able to handle 1 million right or left clicks.

I picked up a Mamba a few years ago, as I wanted a good wireless mouse. Worst hardware decision I've made in over 15 years.

The buttons still work but the thing is falling apart. The associated software is absolutely awful, I gave up on using that after a day or 2. I'll never buy Razer again; I wouldn't trust them with anything more complex than a mouse mat.

A low priced Razer product will break before you even plug it in.
