    In both cases I'd rather have a cheaper base product....

    The AMD promotion began yesterday with the launch of the new Deus Ex game. Simply put, to qualify for the free game download code you have to buy a new 6- or 8-core AMD FX processor

    Well, it is a sponsored game and of course runs on AMD CPUs on both the PS4 and Xbox One.
    Is well threaded and scales fairly well. And runs okay on the 8 core AMD CPUs tested here:

    Intel i3s are not a great match as it seems 2C/4T is not enough. Would be worried about stuttering on the i3s too.

    I wish AMD had this offer of Deus Ex with their graphics cards, since that would have made the 480 a very tempting proposition for me. Nice of them to offer it at all, of course, but I'm not as interested in their CPU's right now. Again, maybe if it was Zen...
