And the fabric-covered HP Pavilion Wave desktop is launched too.

They look rather nice. But only a R9 470M? Wouldn't a Polaris GPU have made more sense for this scenario?

Its a home pc, not a high end one.

Same idea as the one that MSI came out with recently but smaller overall size due to having a built in single speaker instead of a fan to help cool it.

    "two USB 3.1 Type-C, two USB 2.0" - it's a bit cheap(and silly) having USB2.0 instead of USB3.0. Why no standard 3.0 ports?

Very nice designs, good to see some PC makers still make an effort, hopefully it pays off.

They really should be sticking Thunderbolt 3 ports on those, they are the same as USB 3.1 and it at least leaves owners an option if they want to turn towards pc games.

Also, where are the cables on the promo images? Seems like it's being advertised as a clutter free and clean solution but the ports available would mean additional adaptors and hubs to work with current hardware.

I like the emphasis on novel industrial designs, hope this continues and takes off with other manufacturers too, instead of just slavishly copying one particular brand.

Hmm, you obviously missed the iFans who decried both as just being copies of Mac Mini and Mac Pro. I don't see it myself, and like you quite like someone deciding to be different.

all they needed to do was add twin thunderbolt for (optional) external GPU enclosure and they would be onto something
