Great.
..but how big a cut are EA expecting to make when people find out they'll need to jump through expensive hoops to purchase the DLC from Bethesda?, which is an essential requirement (IMO) to get the full ME2 experience.
It does seem to come with some DLC, as well as the soundtrack and a documentary. Which won't be used...
Edit: Here's what you get...
Mass Effectâ„¢ 2
Cerberus Network
Normandy Crash Site
Zaeed - The Price of Revenge
Cerberus Arc Projector
Cerberus Weapon and Armor
Firewalker Pack
Mass Effect 2 Soundtrack
Mass Effect 2 Digital Art Books
Mass Effect 2 Documentary

Yeah that's the 'basic' DLC pack that comes with the deluxe version on Origin, but it doesn't contain any of the major mission expansion packs, you know..the good stuff.
Fair enough EA giving the game away, my complaint is more the fact that you have to purchase those packs direct from Bethesda at exorbitantly high prices so long after release.
Bioware, not Bethesda.
The missing major story DLC is:
* Arrival (560 Bioware points)
* Lair of the Shadow Broker (800 Bioware points)
* Kasumi - Stolen Memory (560 Bioware points)
Points are only purchasable in lots of 800 or 1600.
It's worse for ME3:
* Citadel (1200 Bioware points)
* Omega (1200 Bioware points)
* Leviathan (800 Bioware points)
* From Ashes (800 Bioware points)
Quite right about Bioware not Bethesda, sorry, brain fart moment.
I'd love to know the politics behind the fact that there has never been an all in one, GOTY edition for ME2 & ME3.
thanks 4 the heads up HEXUS
Waitt..... there were DLC's? I only played the standard edition of all three ME games!!!!
Oh boy.
All the DLC content is essential, which is part of the problem of the charging model. And the more of the DLC you play through, the more callbacks to your actions you get in the later games. Without the DLC (I'm assuming you got the ME2 DLC which was bundled with the game) you're missing a ME2 party member & related story, a ME3 party member & related story, a grand reunion quest in ME3 where you meet up with all the ME1 team, an encounter at the bottom of the ocean with pre-Reaper aliens, and more.
You're definitely 100% missing out on ME without the DLC.
ME1's DLC is the only one handled differently - one is a fiver on Origin (no Bioware points), the other you just download the installer here: http://files.bioware.com/masseffect/..._BDtS_ES_a.exe
