Yes, lots of babies and toddlers had brand new Nokia 3310's in the early noughties.
A ggod phone for proper workers and hard grafters, for folk who really work and not ponce about in an office and sit on their arse.
Smartphones are not made to withstand graft in conditions where the user is geeting their hands dirty.
My hopes.
Compatibility with most accessories, covers and joystick.
Micro-usb charging.
Maintaining numeric shortcut menu.
New covers available, at least the original grey and the blue/white.
At that price for a dumb phone, I would like to see at least one spare included by default.
Blue LED lighting as option or default.
Based on the simple functions of the 3310 and the shrinking of mobile phone hardware, almost ALL of the volume of the phone could be battery,
Could go from charging once a week to charging once a month (or two)
I don't want one myself but I can see them selling well even if they're going for the rip-off sum of €59!
Nokia 3310... even Microsoft couldn't contain it.
The only thing this would benefit from including, is some way to get emails, whether it's an email to SMS service or the addition of basic 3G connectivity coupled with a parsing program to translate just the text from the email onto the screen.
Then it'd offer all the connectivity you *need* (as opposed to all the connectivity you might want) to keep in touch with an office.

These old Nokia's are great, proof that only dumb people need smart phones
Don't get the hating on feature phones going on here. Not everyone feels the need to be connected to social media 24/7, or play flashy rts games.
It's certainly not a millennial's phone - there were far "funkier" options around in 2001 with colour screens, apps (believe it or not
And actually, with the increasing proliferation of small tablet, I can see a new market opening for simple, almost indestructible feature phones with updated functionality as voice-capable companions to larger phablet/tablet devices, or as secondary phones when travelling to places you don't want to take £500 worth of tech.
By the time the 3310 was retired most feature phones had decent web browsers, media players, cameras, email apps, and many were starting to include social media apps too. There's no reason to think that a modern feature phone can't be every bit as functional for most people as a smart phone - if the new 3310 comes with email, facebook, twitter, and wifi access point, it'd serve 95% of my phone use natively, and provide internet access for my tablet for the other 5%. Smartphone not required.
And Snake II. That's the most important bit.
Heh. I rather liked Bantumi. OTOH I never had a 3310 - I bought a 5110 off a friend and that lasted me until I went on contract. Loads of my friends had the 3310 though.

Too late I have already bought a binatone brick, got it for £19, the appear to be £130 on ebay now.
Why on earth is nokia 3310 back in fashion? I had this, it was nice, it was nicer once I changed the batter for a li-on one (and half the weight) but it was not anything special. Just a mid range phone of it's age.
Bring me back the nokia 8210, that was wonderful, that was small and could fit a pocket, or bring me back the Ericsson T28, that was superb phones, 3310 was just the phone of the poor guys like me.
Also yeah, who cares about snake, badumi was the really interesting game!
