Hmm tempting, I hope Asus brings out some new Monitors soon, I'm thinking about getting the PG279Q IPS. 240Hz is over kill, people who have 165Hz on their monitors dont use it and fall back to 144hz

I currently have a 144Hz monitor and fall back to 120Hz due to the increased power usage at 144Hz when idle/minimum work load.

For fps gamer refresh rate and response time is worth more than your silly resolution and slow ass IPS panel.

Ahh... the 4k gaming master race. Truly stunning visuals at 60fps. Nice.

You lost me at "TN panel" ...and so did AOC.

BTW, I do quite well at playing CS:GO on my 60Hz Dell IPS monitor, so...

Re: AOC AGON AG251FZ claims fastest gaming monitor title

240Hz, fookin hell!? The old CRT's didn't even do that (75 and 100Hz were the most common) and there was definitely NO tearing issues at those rates. Surely this is just a sales gimmick, right?

I've been playing FPS's for about 20 years and I would argue that 120Hz (or perhaps 144Hz for "younger eyes") is pretty much perfect...
