How many seats does something need to have, in order to qualify as a "bus"?
I feel like 4 doesn't quite cut it...
And since the trial has a full-time 'driver' present, only 3 passengers really. Not sure what that person does since it has no brakes or steering wheel?! There's only 100 people in the 3-week trial, so it really doesn't need much capacity.
The linked story says, so it sounds like they're planning on using this in pedestrian areas, not on roads.Quote:

Since it's developed by Oxbotica, Heathrow Enterprises and Westfield Sportscars, I imagine it might one day replace those electric mobility assistance vehicles at airports and stations.
