Still using my Oneplus One, now with LineageOS 14.1, battery life isn't what it used to be after 3 years of faithful service (but can still get me through a day). On the look out for a suitable replacement, but I doubt I'll ever get anywhere near the same kind of value as I did with this thing again. Don't care for the Oneplus 5 at all, would go with the 3T but people are asking silly money for them new or used, pressing into SGS7 territory, so I'm inclined to just go with an SGS7 and get all the flagship features and overwrite touchwiz if it annoys me too much.

It might be worth checking some of the Huawei phones too.

Re: QOTW: Which mobile phone do you use?

A SGS7 is a good shout, loved mine wish hadn't sold it when I upgraded to a SGS8+ which I then soon sold and ended up getting an LG G6 (Asian Int. Vers). The OP 5 is a good phone I even ordered one but considering the value that I got with the OP3 I could justify the cost of it so returned it unopened.

So today, if it were my money, I'd go for a mint second hand SGS7, which I've seen go for well under £300 on certain forums, or a brand new imported LG G6 H870DS which are around £310 atm and an absolute bargain.

Yeah I checked them, and a few of the other budget manufacturers. The rear fingerprint reader is an instant deal breaker for me. Ultimately I ended up going for the OP5 after all, SGS7+128GB uSD card is about the same price as a 128GB OP5 right now, plus most of the software issues are resolved, still sucks that the main shooter doesn't have OIS, and they're still gimping USB to 2.0 to facilitate dash charging instead of standards compliant QC4, but that's all I missed out on really. No phone is perfect, sadly. Hope they'll bring their A game in 2-3 years.

Great choice, but dont knock Dash charging, it's way better than QC3 or 4. And in the absence of wireless charging I'd pick Dash charge over QC3, 4 or USB 3 any day of the week. It's sooooooooo fast.

Dash charging is fast sure, but I religiously charge when I turn in for bed, so it's entirely irrelevant to me whether my phone charges in 60 or 90 minutes, it'll still be done 5 hours before I wake up, certainly not worth sacrificing the eye watering speed boost of USB 3.1 over 2.0, which the UFS 2.1 storage can actually make use of. The only thing that makes it a semi-acceptable loss is the 2x2 AC WiFi can run rings around USB 2.0 by about 5 times, so the only thing the USB port will get used for is charging or the rare occasion I have for using USB-OTG. But even 2x2 AC is still ~10 times slower than USB 3.1. It's exactly like designing a high performance DAS with lots of NVMe storage, and making it go through USB 2.0. I mean USB 2.0 specs were released 17 years ago. That's how absurd it is.

OnePlus 3. Fast, stable, decent updates, decent camera, a lot of phone for the money.

    iPhone SE.
It has great performance and is small enough to fit in my pocket.
The retina display matches my shortsightedness. :-)
