My cooler - a Thermalright Ultra Extreme which has been serving in my PC for the best part of a decade now (after the death of my old S775 system earlier this year I managed to find an LGA115x adaptor).

My monitor, 10 years old, woefully out of date. Still need to buy a replacement but annoyingly my undecided future GPU choices plays a role in what its replacement will be.

Re: QOTW: Which is your longest serving PC component?

I have a Logitech MX518, which I bought 9-10 years ago. I did retire it from my main computer and it serves as the mouse for my server. Aside from the pads wearing down, it still works great. Most of my computer equipment tends to be old....my newest edition is the Corsair M65 mouse, everything else is at least 3-4 years old. Can't afford to stay up to date

Re: QOTW: Which is your longest serving PC component?

my dell 2407wfp is 9 years old. so is my logitech g9 mouse amd my gen 2 g15 keyboard must be around that age too. all work fine. would enjoy my dell a bit more if it was led lit as it outputs so much heat. i have got upgraded keyboard and mouse already but not going to use them until i upgrade my pc (which is housed in a coolermaster stacker stc-t01, heres an hexus review..from 2004 ! http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/chassis/890-cooler-master-stacker-stc-t01/ )

oldest pc part right there. case being nearly 13 years old. needs upgrade i think.

Re: QOTW: Which is your longest serving PC component?

Some old hard drives in my caddies and I'm guessing the pata hard drive in my synology ds106j...

In my main pc it would either be the 1.5TB Seagate HD used for storage or the 120GB Crucial M4 which I use for a scratch disk. The rest is all fairly new.

Re: QOTW: Which is your longest serving PC component?

Same as the last time a similar question was asked on QoTW.

    http://forums.hexus.net/hexus-news/3...ml#post3552866

A parallel port header pulled from my first Windows PC of '95 vintage, currently used to provide a parallel port off an Asrock Z77M, which is used to connect an HD44780 LCD display.
