"two year ramp-up is typical for products to reach end users". So, they work speeding up hardware for the industry yet they cannot reduce the bottle neck in their own. Sorry but, its 2017 and a two year ramp-up time is ridiculous. If they tried harder they could cut that time in half, and they should. GET IT DONE. HELP THE ECONOMY OUT AND GET OFF YOUR ARSE.

Also, recent (as in say the last 5 years) we had other issues with SSD firmware, longevity of NAND etc. In fact, wasn't there some SSD issue just now with Intel rushing to launch their 545S SSD because apparently they want to 'beat' WD and Toshiba to 64-layer 3D NAND.
