Did Microsoft messed up Nokia? Would it been far better if all they did was to own shares but not mess around with the R&D team.
Honestly, back at the end of Feb, early March, I was interested in the Nokia 6. It looks nice, it's specs seem more than enough for my needs and Nokia (well HMD) made a promise to keep it up to date.
Now we're in July and still need to wait another month and well I've lost interest in it, even more when I see the price is £220 which is a tad too much for it imo when you can get a moto g5 with matching specs (apart from 16GB storage) for around £160 and this is getting an update soon too.
Then there's the fact that the 430 has now been superseded (twice) so it's already out of date on release. This needed to be out 2-3 months ago while the hype was still there.
The screen is coming of my Z3 Compact. I was going to get a Nokia 5, but I'm not sure I can put it off for another six weeks. I don't think it makes sense going to 1080 on a mid-range chip. And I really don't want anything bigger than 5 inches (to be fair, 4.6 works perfectly for me), but I don't want a cheap and nasty phone too.
Argh.
Looks like... every other smartphone out there.
A waterproof version would be nice.
I wonder if they live up to the durability of the old Nokia phones. They were literally "bricks" and were super hard to accidentally damage.
