In an emergency do you borrow a stranger's mobile phone?
Free 1Gbps WiFi???!!!
I really hope they put one in up the road, as it'll be 0.9993Gbps faster than anything we have right now!!
Well to be fair out my way when you're outside of 'built up areas' you're more likely to see a deer or fox than you are another person who would stop let alone a red phone box lol.
Luckily the area I live in has really good mobile coverage to compensate... oh wait it doesn't... well better start looking into survival training lol
Still be 20,000 left though
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
oh and they should make them wifi points and have chargers in them in case you get stuck. Far better that way

Pointless and wasteful to keep unused boxes in service. The phone box in our village is now a tiny library.
Another nail in the coffin, for free public toilets.
In a few villages here these classic phone boxes house defibrillators, a great way to keep these boxes around and potentially life saving.
The superfast wifi thing looks neat, but where's the money coming from to run it? Are the ads on the sign-in page really that profitable?
There's a great thing I've seen cashzone and bt dling together, because there is power and a phone line they're replacing the phone box with a cashpoint with a payphone on the back of it. Now that is smart thinking for phone boxes in an urban area.
However, i see payphones primarily used by the massive number of homeless that has grown in my town.
Extortionate line rental charges on customers.
Yep, it means crims can ramraid these instead of the high street cash machines.
I would expect someone to ask who uses cash any more in this day and age of modern technology and smartphone touchpay facilities... but I'd be countering the question myself anyway!
