    540MB/s sounds suspiciously like it's still using a sloppy and inefficient SATA to USB bridge, certainly not getting close to the potential of 10Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 2 which it's supposedly capable of.

    I gave up looking for NVMe external caddies, as of July 2016 they didn't make any stand alone, I had a slight glimmer of hope then realised it's just the T3 with the newer drive, save your money.
