Moving the enter key... err... no
"If it had a numpad" - looks like it's an option from one of the pictures?
Nope...my Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 works just fine!
This could probably work really well if you just started using a PC. But learning a different layout to the one you used for decades is probably very difficult. It takes me days to get used to a new keyboard with a similar layout. The price is okay though, if you compare it to other mechanical keyboards.
The X-Bows team, have just written to say "We have a detachable numpad planned as a stretch goal. I'll send you an update message once it is released!"
Looks nice enough, but may be a bit pricey for a pie in the sky Kickstarter project, especially with the wrist rest being optional. If I was to not like the 'feel' of the keys/layout after receiving it I would end up not using it.
I have been using the Logitech Cordless Desktop Pro/Comfort ergonomic keyboards for 16+ years and even have 2 spare ones in the attic, because Logitech stopped making them. Best typing experience ever as far as I am concerned. Replacing that with an actual mechanical switch keyboard would have been pretty sweet.
Looks good but where are the home/end keys. Like the tenkeyless approach as I use the Filco (with brown switches).
I'd be really interested to try this. Trouble is, at £89 it's an expensive mistake if it turns out to be horrible!
Just paid out £100 for a Unicomp to replace my 20 year old IBM Model M which has finally given up the ghost (on one key only). If this had a number pad and I had heard of it sooner I would have gone for it.
I'm good with standard qwerty, thanks.
You can now read about and see a numpad accessory for this keyboard on the fundraising page.
"The numpad will be available for an additional pledge of CA$60 (~$50 USD). If you would like the numpad, you can make an adjustment to your existing pledge and then check off numpad on the backer survey at the end of the campaign."
Interestingly the numpad works with a magnetic connection left or right, it can also work as a satellite but then requires its own USB connection.
The projects seems to be doing well having raised CA$ 116,200, well past its original CA$ 40k goal. Another stretch goal is being drawn up.
Damn, why didn't I see this before buying my Corsair K65
£89 inc shipping is reasonable but bear in mind you'll also incur customs charges in the region of £20-£25.
I'd be interested to try the layout but this trend of mech boards with a base plate and the switches sitting proud like that really puts me off.
[edit] Ah dammit - fell for a necro post!!!

According to their Twitter feed there is a new revision of the keyboard (August 2019).
This being a 2 year old news item it might be time for Hexus to follow-up with an actual hands on review of one. I am sure X-Bows would oblige with a review sample or two. May be even a give-away?
