So, the Z370 boards that are about to be released for the 8600 & 8700 Coffee Lake CPU's will have no upgrade path to the 8c 16t Coffee Lakes that will go in the Z390 boards being released in Q1 '18?
Lol Intel, you really do take the pee.
a 10nm coffee lake will be comparable to a 7nm GF made AMD processor so no need to rush when your competitor has been demolished by the new intel i9 series CPUs in every benchmark.
Weird bu i didn't see the i9 winning in "every" benchmark.
Just for reference, AMD wins all cost to performance benchmarks.
Anyway i9 is big no no to buy for me even if you forget the cost difference - this release was rushed and you can see this on every step of the platform.
And yes - my PC is powered by Intel and Nvidia.

It's a shame they don't make top-end desktop processors without the GPU. I'm sure here must be quite a market out there as it would be both cheaper and potentially able to run faster. There must be a lot of gamers / other users with discrete graphics and unused built-in GPU's.

I don't see one element to complain about, un-like the other posters, all they do is bitch moan and complain, and re-peat.
Z390, looking forward to it. I believe this will be the chipset that supports the procs that will be coming that have no gpu inside. WANT
