Minimal and recommend Intel CPU's seem a bit far fetched, pretty sure ideal minimal to run would be an i5 Haswell 4690K even that would blow the pants off the FX-6350

Only reason the 8350 is recommended is because Dev's are lazy and haven't tested Ryzen processors for AMD's side of CPU system requirements, and because they dont want to hear owners of FX processeors complain about not meeting minimum requirements.

Tell me why Windows 10 is "recommended". The game doesn't use DX12.

Re: EA shares lengthy Star Wars Battlefront II trailer

This game is going to have to be something special for me to buy it after the last one, owners of the first one should be given a discount considering the lack of content and player base. I will be waiting until the Christmas hype dies down on this one, and if by then people are still playing and giving positive reviews, I will consider it in the spring (although there will probably be other titles out by then, and I already have too many games to play as it is, I only finished the main quest on witcher 3 last week and haven't even started the DLC's, that plus the usual rocket league, BF1 and battlegrounds sessions means I probably game far too much anyway haha, oh I need help.)

I looked at it, I looked at the pricing model EA went with and gave it a pass. When they decided to discount that price, I decided to give it a pass due to having no snesible mechanic of "catching up".

I'm an old fart gamer, I strongly dislike all this gouging for every little thing in games using micro-transactions or paid DLC or season passes. Until EA get a better idea, I'll continue to pass.

I picked up the PS4 version for £10 - It was actually worth it. The ranking up mechanics was more for the fun of new equipment and perks, didn't really make a huge difference in giving you an "edge" over lower level players. They have also been giving away the DLC for free recently due to II coming out in 49 days.

I them may have picked up the PC version with DLC for £4.79 as the kids are hogging my PS4 version. And yes I have pre-ordered II as well, not something I do anymore given the amount of disappointments that I have had in the past but it's Star Wars and I enjoyed the 1st one much more than I expected I would.

Would still prefer a proper sequel to X-Wing Alliance though.

It's a bit worrying that something like the 4690K could be considered minimum :O
