Nice - Should be an interesting Game
Re: Nvidia GeForce 387.92 drivers are game ready for Shadow of War
Plenty of new features added in this one, support for OpenGL 4.61, GameStream support for HDR under Windows 10, Fast Sync support for SLI, DirectX Intermediate Language, and full support for DirectX 12 Shader Model 6.0.

And they royally screwed up my computer. First time in about a decade I've had driver issues, so had a good run. I had a system crash on install, problems on reinstall, problems on CLEAN install. Ended up DDU'ing the entire thing and rolling back 2 months, as the previous 3 driver versions all were weird.

Forza is already running like silk, can't fathom how they've managed another 15-25% of performance from it.

Considering how DX12 works compared to previous version, it is surprising. Makes you wonder if other titles will see increases...

Thanks for the BETA test.
Think I'll stick to the release before this one as the last drivers were the only one with the fixes for the texture rendering issues on No Man's Sky, Dayz and a few other titles.

Haha yeah mate, np! I think it was more the geforce experience changes, as my previous drivers were before the new version that was a "leap", the one released in September. I actually tried to install 3 different drivers (going 1 back each time) until I just went to the one that included the old geforce experience.
It's the version where they changed system integration to "lower footprint" (god I hate that, I want system tray icons so I know what's running)

Nvidia drivers has not been great for a long time. DDU is a must when things go wrong. You can then skip the bloatware and install the minimum by unzipping the package and then deleting all folders / files other than those listed below before running setup.
Display Driver
HDAudio
NVI2
PhysX
EULA.txt
ListDevices.txt
setup.cfg
setup.exe

I appreciate your suggestion mate, but honestly I don't really care about bloatware. I used to love running a lean system, but nowadays it feels unnecessary and not worth the effort. I have Steam, uPlay, Blizzard app, AND Origin all running, I've got apps for my mouse, for my fans, for my bloody temps, I've got apps out the wazoo that are just so pointless ha.
But in practice they use very little RAM and even less CPU, so I'm good. I block em in the firewall to reduce threat exposure, but apart from that, I don't really take any steps to reduce impact.
Also, I kinda like GFExperience. The fps counter is the only one that works with DX12, and the suggested settings are a god-send for me, because I play at 4K , and trying to get a steady 60fps can be a nightmare, especially with newer games coming out with more demanding graphics

These drivers crash my win10 OS when I play games for more than 20 minutes and forcing me to revert to previous drivers. I will try a complete reformat and install of the OS and these drivers again soon. A lot of hassle though.
