Probably because Razer, Corsair, SteelSeries, E-3LUE, Ajazz, Thermaltake, 1stPlayer, and just about everyone else has already released their own?

Only those who leave their RGBs set to default Scrolling Rainbow Display Mode... which is annoying, especially on a keyboard!

My Orion is white-only but it does default to "waves" LED every time I switch it off. I can set to static with brightness + 0, but it needs human intervention.. I think editing the firmware could be the only way to stop it defaulting that way and I'm not convinced I could do such a thing.:/

Fortunate it is powered via USB - easy to leave unplugged! I quite like the look of their standard mats though.

Re: Cooler Master reveals RGB Hard Gaming Mouse Pad

At least it doesn't look like the metal bit is as bright silver as on the others though. Quite a price premium for the branding. Doesn't seem to have an on/off switch like some of the others, and it is a shame it doesn't double up as a USB hub.
