My main concern with companies making up new tiers(not only Apple as Samsung is doing the same),is that it ends up causing cheaper phones to be pushed up in price,or the specs to stagnate more.

Should not count the first month of sales from any company not just Apple here, It's just the fans that would buy 1st day anyway!
Show us the figures a month after launch, Stock won't look as good I bet.

Wow,and I thought the Nexus 4 was bad. Looks like the higher up you go the more fragile or problem prone these phones get(like Samsung had with their ones).
