Actually looks quite nice, if a little bit IKEA. Could work well as an HTPC chassis.

    "Power button: Premium-grade button"

For $299 I wouldn't accept anything less, like a "Power button: Adequate-grade button" or a "Power button: Better-than-average-grade button". I don't know, it feels like the button makes a difference. When people ask WTF is that <mod removed> under the monitor I'm gonna say "That's a Premium-grade button with a computer casing surrounding it".

My only surprise is that Apple didn't get their first

I don't want to know what the mod might have removed from under his monitor... it sounds unclean!!

that'd look really nice and clean on a desk... until you plug all the cables into the back of it and think 'Ah'

I'm amazed that someone thinks colour coordination is so important that they bought a wooden horse, new furniture, a lampshade and picture frames and even replaced the floor boards just to match the legs of their new PC encasing monitor stand.

    Picture frames don't all match...

    Nor does all the furniture.

Pedantism and the imprecision often necessary to keep humorous content concise are often a mismatch as well. ;-P
