got it for about £20 and it drastically reduced the sound levels and temps of my cpu, also bought 3 resistor cabled for the 12 fans I have that did the same and made no difference in cooling temps for the rest of the case.
Bought a cheap Chinese knock off of a razer golialthus mouse mat (huge one) works fine and about a 30% of the price of the real thing).
