Limited myself to just picking up Elite that I've been meaning to get for ages. Trouble is it's now in a queue of games to be played
Grab that. Get that. Check it out. Bring that here. Grab anything useful. Take anything good.

I got Elite (plus the DLCs), PUBG, Golf with your friends

Refunded PUBG almost right away, it's nowhere near as good as I was expecting, particularly now it's out of EA. Shame.

Only feels like a couple of weeks ago the thanksgiving / autumn sale was on.

I picked up Civ 6 then, not after anything for a while now - just one more turn...

The reviews have put me off this so far, even took it off my wish list. Hard to believe Civ V is from 2010 - played a couple of games recently and was still good. Might just get all the expansions instead...

Likewise. As usual, the older Civ game with all the expansions is the better game. However, I have heard Civ 6 is better than normal Civ games out of the gate, and does make some fundamental gameplay changes. If you haven't got Gods And Kings and to a lesser extent, Brave New World, I think they would be the better value option.

I have a feeling that Civ 5 was the last game I bought at release. At 347 hours played so far, I think it's been good value!

I never really got on with 5 as it I found it so difficult to adjust to from 4... Mainly because I loved 4 so much.

Quite enjoying 6 so far,the changes are quite significant!
I think there have been several patches since go live which have addressed bugs etc. I am planning to try a couple of the reskin /layout mods to see if that improves things, but at the moment I am just concentrating on being in a place to win via domination!

Nothing at all? I'm not saying it's all wonderful stuff, but there is quite a bit of choice...

I got the Civ V complete pack in the end, and couldn't resist Age of Empires II - should run on my 2 in 1 so can have some portable time wasting

Re: The Steam Winter Sale is now live

Wanted to gift my friend "The Deus Ex Collection" bundle which is going for $5.56. But cant gift it as it says "Because the contents of The Deus Ex Collection are personalized for your account, it cannot be purchased as a gift."
So leaving with a obligatory "Steam Sales Suck" comment.
