I'm strangely in two minds about cyberpunk, CD Projekt Red is one of the few developers/publishers I'd trust to make it, but at the same time I'm worried.

I'm talking from a pure world/story view point here, and too many companies have really botched "cyberpunk" stories recently.

I am looking forward to this - but I really hope the combat system actually is more tuned to keyboard and mouse. Its one thing I didn't like about W3(especially if you played a game like Chivalry),as it involved spinning around like something out of Couching Tiger,Hidden Dragon,ie,great for console controllers.

I was talking about games not books, all too often games fall into good vs evil tropes, which don't belong in cyberpunk stories.

I was just pointing there was a new series which was based on a Cyperpunk novel being released!! Its not like they are common!!

Its kind of why I liked FO:NV so much,the factions were not so clear cut in terms of being entirely good or bad,which made the game more interesting than it would be otherwise.

How do you mean ? I think W3 is best with a KB&M, can't really play it without one myself. Plus, you can bind the individual powers rather than having to select > execute.

The combat system is not that great for me,IMHO OFC,when compared to games like Chivalry,etc(it seems to lack precision and seems to be more area of effect). I thought it was just me until one of my mates also got annoyed with it too and he is more a fantasy fan too. Its not only W3 that is having the issue but more and more games. The combat system is more targetted around simplistic console controllers,and they adapt it to keyboard and mouse.

Yes I know, it was one of my favorite rpg's in the 90's, if phototbucket wasn't I'd post a photo of the stack of books I still have.
This is a big part of why I'm excited and a little scared, I really don't want it borked.
