This is getting silly, £3-400 chairs that are fake leather. I got a real leather operators chair for £80 (was 1/2 price but I would still pay the £160 over 3-400 for pleather).

CORSAIR PRODUCT DESIGN MEETING:
Bob: So, we have a new gaming chair in the works. It's sort of like our first model, only with more comfort in mind. You know, more padding, wider seat, leather upholstered etc.
Rob: Okay. So what's the problem?
Bob: We're having trouble coming up with a name. Something that says comfort, premium feel, gaming in luxury.
Rob: Ah, that's a tough one.
Bob: So, any ideas?
Rob: Comfort... luxury...
Bob: ...
Rob: How about ROAD WARRIOR!!!
Bob: ...
Rob: ...
Bob: ... Rob, you're a goddamn genius! Marg! Wheel in the cake trolley, we're done here.

I have a noblechairs ICON and a noblechairs EPIC, both in the £300-£400 range, both PU "leather".
Having said that, what's wrong with spending £300 on a chair that you might use every single day? Some people spend more than twice that on a graphics card that will be outdated within 2 years.

Re: Corsair launches the T2 Road Warrior gaming chair
I'm not against paying the money per se... but leather is an animal product where as PU so isn't
Re: Corsair launches the T2 Road Warrior gaming chair
Funny how we found some perfectly fine office chairs for much less than £400. Oh well!!
Edit!!
The moment you put its for PCMR GAMERZ,then they can tack any stupid price on it??
I assume the chair has RGB lighting??
Re: Corsair launches the T2 Road Warrior gaming chair
Has RGB lighting but you need the hub to enable it and it's extra. Then you can control it with your Alexa doodaaaaaaa

Well... at least they didn't go for ROAD KILL. That's something, I guess...

Here, buy this pencil.... It's made to the same standard and with only the same features as a 5p entry level commercial office pencil, but we've put pritty colours on it and given it a dynamic sounding name, so we're charging £80 for one. And just to add insult to rip-off injury, it's not even RGB-enabled!!
Seriously, better chairs with FAR more features and adjustability can be had for something like a fifth of the price...

I'm aiming this at several people in this thread - can you actually provide proof to back up these claims?
I've not found a chair for £330 that scores as highly in sooo many different reviews. I honestly think both of these chairs are built to an excellent standard, are comfortable for 16 hours a day and look great too.

What kind of reviews? Gamer chair ones?
I've some links at home somewhere to 24-hr operator chairs, for about £80.
They're not 'By Gamers For Gamers' chairs, but they are used by police dispatchers and similar roles where people are sat for long periods and the chair is in continual use round the clock.
As well as solid, supportive foam, they have something like 9-12 points of adjustment whereas the current trend of Gamer Chairs seem to have maybe 5 or 6 at most...
My current chair was donated by work, but when that wears out I was planning on getting one of these 24hr ones.

The chair I am sitting in is worth £400 to £600 and cost well under £100 new, since I got it from an office surplus store BRAND NEW.

I would be quite happy to spend £300+ on a well designed chair but, not on a psuedo car seat covered in plastic that will be horrible on a hot day.

Do you have any proof of that? The chair I'm sitting in cost me absolutely nothing, as did the other noblechair in this room. How's that for value? :D
