390Mbps down, 20Mbps up.
As part of of a package with TV and phone line for £100 a month. I don't consider it too bad. Especially as work give me £40 a month to cover broadband at home.

Doesn't this question come up every other week?
Ping 28ms - Down 0.7Mbps - Up 0.2Mbps
Cost £48, incl line rental.

I live in Serbia. My net speed is 20Mbps Download and 2Mbps Upload.
I pay 12.5 Eur. per month
SUPERFAST(tm).
Pay £55 a month for Virgin Media Vivid 350 + some TV channels. Receive roughly 387 down and 21 up. Completely uncontended too, as I'm on a brand new rack, on my own, in the cabinet. The install engineer was a legend
Two months ago it was 2mb & delivered by Wimax. We now have fibre into the house which is 850mb's+ and its awesome
Currently 245 down and 19 up. Vivid 300 from Virgin. Have 2 x V6 boxes and home phone for £85 all in.
Value not too bad - we hammer the boxes and the broadband
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
1.8mbit down, 0.6mbit up, ~35ms avg ping. I believe it's around £30 all in with line rental. All things considered the value isn't godawful but technical limitations make it hard to call this a "steal".
Yeah, you see the issue here is that you're assuming that it is *possible* to do better but the provider is doing a bad job. In my area, doing better than 2mbit is currently somewhere between voodoo magic and a physical impossibility. There aren't even enough connected customers to convince anyone to care about this ADSL exchange.
Jeez. Are you sure you didn't swap these values by accident? Don't get me wrong, I have seen the bottom of the barrel (and for those interested, it looks like this) but to me a result of less than 30KB/s down is certainly a fault. I live beyond the 63.5 DB attenuation point and still reliably do better than that on downstream. What's the situation?
