Looks good, but the price is (unsurprisingly) steep; perhaps that can be forgiven if the quality of actual shipped product is decent.

Does the USB C in also include Displayport?

Re: LG 38WK95C Ultrawide FreeSync monitor released
i have a couple other uwqhd monitors from lg.
in perhaps a year`s time i think one of these may be joining them, but at the moment the price is more g-sync than free-sync.

75Hz isn't a gaming monitor and I think couldn't get GSync, looks to me like it is just simply an expensive screen.

It doesn't matter though as in a proper FPS game like Planetside 2 its highly unlikely you would be getting anywhere near 75FPS during large battles!! None of that 64 player crap - we are talking 200 to 300 people at one point!! :p

Depends on the gaming.
MOBAs, RTS, strategy games like Total War or Civ, sports games and puzzle games amongst others won't benefit from the faster refresh. It's basically only twitch shooters.

I think I expressed myself quite badly there :)
I was more trying to say that good panels are expensive, being FreeeSync doesn't change the cost much. This doesn't look aimed at hardcore gamers to me, but someone who is after a panel that big with those sorts of colour abilities will I'm sure be happy that it won't turn into a smeary mess if they try and game on it like some early IPS panels.
I expect most people don't have a graphics card that can drive all those pixels at 120Hz and up anyway, what would be really nice to know with a panel like this is how *low* the frame rate can go. If it can do 30Hz then it can do low framerate compensation and to a casual gamer that would be really handy for those frames when their graphics card doesn't cope.
