Hmm now that name rings a bell, I might have dialled in at some point - in fact, I'm fairly certain I did. Small world

I think I dialed them too back in the 90s. Maybe, if they were a London local number that is.

Be Careful on the Internet! I ran and tackled a drive by mining attack today. It's not designed to do anything than provide fake texts (say!)

it`s ok saying that, but i`ve got well over a thousand disks and i really don`t think that`s going to work out: i need a hardware solution.

Well to be honest - the floppies are pretty useless unless you have a real Amiga. Even the hardware solutions read floppy images because it's easier and faster. The Armiga can come with a floppy but it struggles with copy protected disks

Probably the best computer setup I ever had
At one point I had an 2x Amiga 1200, 1500 and 500 at the same time. One 1200 was a standard Amiga. Other 1200 was towered up with expansions/Zorro slots. Sold it off when I moved out of my parents, some 11 years ago. Wish I hadn't but it was rather bulky.

You will just have to buy an Amiga. Or find the images online which isn't that hard

Re: WinUAE Amiga emulator v4.0.0 beta released

I must be getting more dopey as i get older, i cannot for the life of me get WinUAE to work.. i mean i used WinUAE when it first appeared with great success. was able to play all my old boxed games again including Populous 2 (Which is far superior to the PC version) and Moonstone.

But i just cannot get it to work anymore, is there any good tutorials for getting V4 working?
