I wonder if you could sync the LEDs with drive usage??

No.
Because like everything RGB, it has 16-gabazillion different colours, but is only ever capable of displaying rainbow...
Re: Team Group launches its T-Force Delta RGB SSDs
C'mon, just give us a dot matrix display on a drive already. Cases have had 2.5" drives prominently displayed for years, it'd be perfect to really show off!
Re: Team Group launches its T-Force Delta RGB SSDs
More RGB . hell , you'll need sunglasses on when using your PC before too long. Next craze will be built in drum machines to go with the light shows , is it a PC , no it's a Disco. lol.
Re: Team Group launches its T-Force Delta RGB SSDs
Seriously, what the... :O_o1:
Re: Team Group launches its T-Force Delta RGB SSDs
This RGB nonsense is just getting more and more ridiculous. Why on earth do they think we need RGB on a SSD that in most cases isn't even in view? Enough already. It just adds to the cost and put's a lot of people off buying what would otherwise be a decent product.

I can't see the problem. RGB rules man. I want an RGB enabled cd-rom drive
Re: Team Group launches its T-Force Delta RGB SSDs
I can only assume that this was thought up as a joke, but someone else took it seriously and put it into production.
It's the only way that this makes any sense to me.

It would have been kind of interesting if the drive changed in colour the more saturated the I/O became - it might be actually quite useful as a visual representation of drive usage at a glance, but I suspect none of the companies will bother.
Re: Team Group launches its T-Force Delta RGB SSDs
I'm still uncertain of the exact point that putting lights all over PC components became a thing. :/
Re: Team Group launches its T-Force Delta RGB SSDs
Since when has bling ever been about function?
Re: Team Group launches its T-Force Delta RGB SSDs
Next thing will be rope lights alomg all your connecting cables , even the mains lead. When all is RGB'd on a good day you might even work out and trace where exactly your PC is amongst the Christmas tree of your room.
Re: Team Group launches its T-Force Delta RGB SSDs
IMHO it has become so cheap in real terms to add RGB that it has become an easy way to charge more for a product and increase profits fairly easily. Chinese wholesalers charge pence literally for rgb led's - so it's a no brainer in company's eyes to add extra profit

Rope lit PSU cables would be awesome, kind of like the glowing USB cables you can get. You could even change the colour to match the current flow!
