Acer and Asus will be the first to market, says source, but we still don't have pricing indicators.

And either an incredibly well-optimised game, or one that isn't pushing any sort of boundaries. Though considering these monitors will be in the region of $800 (possibly more), they seem more like halo products than something for the mass market.

although with g-sync it should still look fine with lower frame rates or you could run at a lower res.

i.e you wouldn't need to max such a monitor out to gain benefit.

Whether it's still a good buy depends on price

More like $2000. You are already paying $800 for a QHD G-Sync display with good colors.

Pay for the monitor and pay for the new nvidia card to come up and new bf5 adding in total £3000 easy spend for some. Just wait until prices are dropped. Still the GTX670 rocks.

If you stop at 1:19 maybe for the wrong reasons I prefer the left monitor. The shine on the tyre & door panel looks overly bright on the 4K.

    Rigs:
Main: ASUS P6T7 WS Supercomputer, i7 980, 24GB Corsair Dominator GT, OCZ Vectors + HDDs, Inno3D GTX 980 iChill Herculez X4 Air Boss Ultra, Seasonic X-850W, Fractal Design Define XL, 10 x64 Pro, Noctua DH14 + stock chassis fans
