    Bought a Samsung QLED TV last year when the old TV started to have issues. Was going to buy one of those Cambridge Audio soundbars,but the built-in speakers sounded good enough anyway(which was a shock). Also found the TV quite good at upscaling 1080p content too.

    Yeah, we've found that as well. Really good at sorting out the pixels and the colours. I wish the same could be said for our Virgin TiVo v6 box, that thing is rubbish at upscaling, to the point where we've had to turn off the 2160p output and go back to 1080p only. Think I may have Virgin come out and look at it next week if it doesn't sort itself out.

    Yeah,I noticed that a number of the TV sticks also seemed to do a worse job. Generally quite pleased with the image quality overall.

    Having said that it seems Samsung is not sending an HLG update for the model of TV we have,despite it being HDR1000:

    A bit annoyed about that,although might apparently a Roku Streaming Stick might help.
