Cooler-running diodes would be neat, those seem to be a weak point in many cheap power supplies
Probably have to wait for the patent to expire before these emerge in cheapo PSUs. I expect there will be substantial R&D, tooling and so on costs to recover before they get anywhere near plebs like us. Remember it's just the material and it still needs components designing around it so realistically there are going to be a lot of costs to recoup.
What consumers want: batteries with 100x battery life.
What companies will produce: much thinner and/or smaller batteries with equivalent life.
