This ticks all the right boxes for me. Hopefully it'll come in at around £700, although I suspect the RGB lighting may add a hefty premium :P I'll be looking out for this.
It's $2000....lol
£700 laughs out loudly. A 1440p Gsync monitor costs that so 4K you're living on another planet. If it hits the UK expect to pay £2,000 or very close. Plus 4k on a 27" monitor WTF. Who'd want to play on that? A 27" monitor is ideal for 1440p like my Acer XF270HU freesync monitor but 4K no thanks.
If only it was 32" I would buy it despite the steep price.
The Asus PG279Q launched at £700 back in 2015 and it's still that. If they're planning on keeping the 1440p/gsync line at that price and pricing this well above it then that'd be a real disappointment.
The speed of monitor evolution has been absurdly slow recently.
