Haha yeah good one AMD, might be worth a thought if you are going to actually use the CPU, but as it is limited edition etc. I am pretty sure if you didn't use it and kept it boxed, it will be worth more to a collector in the future.

Who knows what the future holds? Or put it this way, if I had won one, I wouldn't pass the chance to swap it for a TR regardless of intention to use it or not. It's worth £300 more, if not using it then sell it straight away and use the money for something for today.

As its a limited edition it will be worthless in the future, there will be more in perfect condition in air tight containers than there is used.

I know I wouldn't hesitate in the swap myself but my main goal is productivity, will get an R7 if I can ever afford ram again.
