Re: Netflix Europe is testing an Ultra subscription tier
I like that idea DanceswithUnix - allow people to pick the features they want the let the price adjust around it..a bit like with more traditional pay TV. I have no interest in multiple screens or users for my netflix account, but I DO want 4K/HDR/Dolby Vision.
It's annoying that I have to buy their "ultra" package at the moment to get 4K, but it would be even more annoying if they bumped that cost up again just because they can.
Sadly I would likely still pay it though. That's the reality....I generally enjoy their 4k/HDR content and as there are virtually no legal alternatives I don't really have an option if I want to enjoy that content.

Ditto here...I only use it on one TV, and that's a 65" 4K UHD with HDR...so all they would do is disappoint me greatly...

I am still getting everything on disc, the quality drop to streaming just kills it for me.
