Re: Windows 10 AI will mean updates are less annoying

Windows updates are a total pain, not because its updating but rather it's updating junk I will never use:

Fixes to Edge (whoever uses this want to have a word with themselves).
    Greater compatibility with office etc.
windows hello not recognizing very ugly people with growths.
New support for Japanese sign language, better hololens something or other that no one cares about or will ever use.
    etc etc......

It's funny because if your part of the insider group you will notice every single day people posting or voting for some form of Aero theme and yet nada nothing.

I almost always shut down my computer when I'm not done for the day, so any pending updates get installed then.

I don't do this with my Windows 10 tablet but, even then, I don't get bothered my automatic restarts.

Not that I use it regularly so maybe I'm missing something, but I don't find Edge to be that bad. Not compared to what Chrome has become anyway.

Loving the new firefox, shame the debugger is awful.

Edge I find very good when on battery or watching something.

Fixes to edge are important even if you don't use it because malware can try to exploit vulnerabilities within it through its rendering engine as that's what the core OS uses for any HTML work (such as help screens.)

    Wrong quote?

@TheAnimus: I've not used Firefox all that much lately, perhaps I should give it another try too.
